Background
My love of photography has increased over the years. My first 'serious' camera was a Nikon 601. After shooting with it for several years I updated to a Nikon F100. For a majority of my learning I shot slide film. However, with the power of digital I eventually gave-in and purchased a D100. Unfortunately, I was unwilling to go to Kenya and Namibia in 2004 with the limited buffer size so I again was back to shooting slide film.
In the fall of 2005, the D100 was upgraded to a Nikon D2X in preparation to return to Africa in February - March 2006 to visit Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
